Retired after 37 years of service as a Research and Development Engineer for International Harvester/CNH Industrial. U.S. Navy Veteran. Graduate of Fenger High School and St. Willibrord Grammer School. Husband for 26 years of Mary Lou nee Willger. Father of Melinda (Said Abid) and Linda Markert, Tina Tornga and Julie Markert. Grandfather of Danny, Stephanie, Brandy, Nicole and J.J. Great grandfather of Sophie. Brother of the late Michael Markert. Son of the late Joan nee Surowicz and Lawrence Markert. Son-in-law of Bernard and Linda Willger. Beloved brother-in-law, uncle and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
