Louis Saviano, age 72. Native and longtime resident of Chicago Heights recently of Lowell, In. passed away peacefully at his home on August 16th. Husband for 50 years of Sylvia nee Patterson. Father of Renee (Antonio) Sabino and Anthony (Stacey) Saviano. Proud “Grandpa” of Victoria, Marina and Sabrina Sabino. Son of the late Dorothy nee Colangelo and Albert Saviano. Brother of Tom (Sarah) and Philip (Debbie) Saviano. Beloved brother-in-law, cousin and uncle of many. A graduate of Bloom Twp. High School, Lou was the former owner of L&R Drapery Installers. From 1985 until 2010 he was responsible for serving up cold beers, world famous hamburgers and smiles to thousands of patrons as the proud owner of Bob & Clara’s Tavern in Chicago Heights. His good nature and love of a good conversation will be fondly remembered by those fortunate to have known him. Resting at Panozzo Bros Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Wednesday Aug. 20th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral services Thursday morning 11:00 AM. Burial Homewood Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Homewood.
