Graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. United States Marine Corp Veteran. Retired Safety Manager after over 25 years from Ryder and Penske Truck Leasing. Terry enjoyed spending many of his later years as a licensed captain, working on ferry boats and walking his dog along the shores of Lake Michigan. Husband for 46 years of Cynthia nee Portelli. Father of Terrence L Mullen Jr and Timothy (Marguerite) Mullen. “Granddad” of Hannah, Rose and Samuel Mullen. Son of the late Marie nee Field and Lee R. Mullen. Brother of the late Patricia Mullen Smolek. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friend to many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 West 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Friday May 9, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Services at funeral home Saturday May 10, 2025 11:00 am.
